Why did you become a wealth advisor?

During 2008 I unfortunately experienced an unexpected divorce, my employer going bankrupt and having to sell my dream home for a loss soon after purchasing it. I was thankful that I had prudently handled my finances and realized many others would have not fared as well under the same circumstances. It made me want to help guide others in making the right financial decisions.

What do you, as a CPA, bring to the wealth management process?

Being a CPA means that I have a deep understanding of the tax implications of planning and investment decisions. This helps me minimize our clients’ tax liabilities and maximize their after-tax cash flow.

How would you describe how you feel about your work at Traust Sollus?

I feel passionate about helping our clients. I am a partner in their financial plans and love seeing them achieve financial independence.

What is your favorite sport or activity?

It would have to be a tie between hiking and biking. Both allow me to be outdoors with my family and provide different perspectives. I also enjoy the physical effort required to move forward.
